CITY CHEF INFORMATION

The City Chef is where I showcase my ongoing avocation of cooking. I take great care in selecting ingredients and combining them in ways that are most pleasing to the senses. My first recollection of my inspiration to cook is when I was only two to three years old. I remember hanging out in the kitchen with my Italian Mom from Catania. She was always so happy at whatever she was cooking and would sing out loud her favorite Dean Martin song "That's Amore" and from time to time I would taste whatever it was that she was cooking for our table that evening. Her joy came from watching all of us eat with gusto, exchanging stories, wiping our plates clean with a piece of crusty Italian bread, and asking for second helpings.

By trade I am a bona fide commercial film director (member of The Directors Guild of America) and I have produced and directed hundreds of national food commercials for major advertising agencies. I love to entertain and I love to cook!

Many special friends, clients, family, and guests from around the world that I have cooked for attest that I can whip up a mouthwatering appetizing meal in less than a half hour. I've received much acclaim from my numerous guests over these past years who love to come and dine at my rooftop garden apartment mesmerized that I can cook everything in a very small city kitchen.
